Thanks to some nice moves Honorato Gartzi could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Nestor Berdoi however easily saved by the left post. 23 minutes into the game, Honorato Gartzi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nestor Berdoi. Honorato Gartzi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Gustavo Bou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Carlos Sá cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Julio Maurino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, ◄★██▓▒░Lyons F.C░▒▓██★►'s goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Sá came free, but Julio Maurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match, Honorato Gartzi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nestor Berdoi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pepe Biondi's Nestor Berdoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Bikendi in the 39th minute of play. ◄★██▓▒░Lyons F.C░▒▓██★►'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcelino Ekaitz in the 41st minute. The corner led ◄★██▓▒░Lyons F.C░▒▓██★►'s Marcelino Ekaitz to fire away a dangerous shot which Nestor Berdoi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 44th minute Carlos Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Maurino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pepe Biondi's Nestor Berdoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Pepe Biondi from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute of the match, Segundo Bikendi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nestor Berdoi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Nestor Berdoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Bikendi in the 57th minute of play. Nunez Eron's late challenge caught a ◄★██▓▒░Lyons F.C░▒▓██★►'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nunez Eron helped the player get up and apologised. Nunez Eron hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Nestor Berdoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Ricart, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that ◄★██▓▒░Lyons F.C░▒▓██★► were the better team. ◄★██▓▒░Lyons F.C░▒▓██★►'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
