The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Crna Gora getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Crna Gora's Godofredo Marques managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tibor Školiak in the 15 minute of the game. In the 21st match minute, Club Atlético Huracan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibor Školiak to maneuver through the defense. Anacleto Urbez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Iraitz in the 23rd minute of the match. Pastor Rivas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Mierzwa in the 31st minute of play. Club Atlético Huracan's Anacleto Urbez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Iraitz in the 38th minute of play. Anacleto Urbez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Iraitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Hernan Min put in a rough tackle. Patricio Belasko might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anacleto Urbez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Belasko ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tibor Školiak during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Tibor Školiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Huracan's goalkeeper Anacleto Urbez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucio Bemabe. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Orti to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Zeledon Montae was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Huracan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crna Gora the free kick. In the 63rd minute, Florentino Tulio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anacleto Urbez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 69 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Iraitz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Club Atlético Huracan's Anacleto Urbez. Anacleto Urbez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dariusz Mierzwa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Rivas having to interfere. Antonello McAndrew kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Iraitz in the 85th minute of play forced Club Atlético Huracan's goalkeeper Anacleto Urbez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dariusz Mierzwa got free with Pastor Rivas in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dariusz Mierzwa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Pastor Rivas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crna Gora walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
