Taffa Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleto Urtsua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Taffa Team's goalkeeper Victorino Elixio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartolo Eliu. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Malvin made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Cleto Urtsua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taffa Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleto Urtsua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tulumba FC's goalkeeper Guillermo Tonio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adrian Gaur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Victorino Elixio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Tonio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Papo in the 64th minute of the match. The Tulumba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tulumba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taffa Team the free kick. The supporters of Taffa Team booed when Tulumba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Aragones didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidio Aguirre hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Omero in the 81st minute of play forced Taffa Team's goalkeeper Victorino Elixio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsenio Aragones got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Arsenio Aragones kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Cleto Urtsua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tulumba FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Joel Papo scored to the left of an out of position Guillermo Tonio, making the score, 2-1. The corner led Taffa Team's Cleto Urtsua to a score. 2-2 in the 98th minute.
