The Caldera FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nemesio Raymon should have stopped the shot. Samuel Casados short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Nemesio Raymon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 26 minutes, Jose Poz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trigo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Poz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Domingo Gorka fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trigo's protests and gave Domingo Gorka a yellow card for diving instead. Domingo Gorka kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Trigo's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Lehoi came free, but Inocencio Urtungo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaston Lehoi scored 3-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inocencio Urtungo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Caldera FC's goalkeeper Nemesio Raymon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Casado. Samuel Casado got in the 42nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Nemesio Raymon handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lorenzo Montay to strike the kick off in the second half. Domingo Gorka kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Cleto Itzaina took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Inocencio Urtungo. Trigo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gaston Lehoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Inocencio Urtungo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Isidor in the 72nd minute of play forced Caldera FC's goalkeeper Nemesio Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trigo made a substitution. Alfredo Bikendi replaced Domingo Gorka. Trigo made a substitution. Amador Bermudez replaced Epifanio Marino.
