In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aráoz FC's goalkeeper Victorino Henrico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute Adan Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Efren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorino Henrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Haitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Aráoz FC's Astor Inautzi got a free kick in the 14th minute. Cristobal Efren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Reyes in the 15th minute of the match. After 16 minutes, Eusebio Emesto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aráoz FC and the Samuhú AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Adan Reyes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristobal Efren was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 32ndth minute of the game Adan Reyes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Samuhú AFC's Cristobal Efren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute Aráoz FC were awarded a corner. Victorio Dantel went to the cornerflag to take it. 40 minutes into the game, Bernardo Pedroso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samuhú AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aráoz FC the free kick. A collision led to Samuhú AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Bernardo Pedroso hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Adan Reyes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aráoz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adan Reyes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Efren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anier Maxin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adan Reyes made a kick off. Cristobal Efren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Reyes in the 52nd minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Anier Maxin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Victorino Henrico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Adan Reyes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aráoz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adan Reyes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Efren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A nice corner shot did that Victorio Dantel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cristobal Efren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Damian Haitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Victorino Henrico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Reyes in the 67th minute of play forced Samuhú AFC's goalkeeper Cristobal Efren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Anier Maxin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorino Henrico was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Adan Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuhú AFC's Anier Maxin got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adan Reyes in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristobal Efren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 80th minute, Adan Reyes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Aráoz FC's Adan Reyes got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damian Haitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Victorino Henrico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Henrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Maxin in the 94th minute of play. Victorino Henrico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Maxin, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
