Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Andres Brion made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Andres Brion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lumbreras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Brion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Gonza took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremias Abeitia. Jeremias Abeitia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jeremias Abeitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Gartxot, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, Lumbreras's Cecilio Abechuco got a free kick in the 14th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Lumbreras's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Gartxot came free, but Jeremias Abeitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lumbreras's Andres Brion got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Lumbreras's Julio Chucho got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Gartxot was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobo Gonza got free with Jeremias Abeitia in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute, Cecilio Abechuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andres Brion kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Jeremias Abeitia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gogo Esdras. After 76 played minutes Lumbreras got a freekick which was hit by Julio Chucho. After 79 played minutes Lumbreras got a freekick which was hit by Julio Chucho. Gogo Esdras was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Lumbreras getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Julio Chucho hit a great ball. Andres Brion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The river plate players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Lumbreras from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
