Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ezequiel Isusko took the kick off in the first half of the match. Octavio Cordaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Moises Olivar kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Modesto Eder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Paulino Chus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 minutes of play, Vergara FC's Modesto Eder made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulino Chus was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Vergara FC's zone, Ezequiel Isusko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Aires came out of the goal and Ezequiel Isusko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Modesto Eder in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Chus saved Quilaquina from getting behind. Danilo Aires made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Isusko in the 28th minute. When Modesto Eder came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Vergara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Eder couldn't finish the play. Esteve Erauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Paulino Chus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Quilaquina's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Cordaro came free, but Paulino Chus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Ayala charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ariel Ayala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ariel Ayala hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quilaquina! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavio Cordaro got free with Paulino Chus in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 57 played minutes Quilaquina got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Maidana. After a defensive mix-up in Quilaquina's zone, Octavio Cordaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Chus came out of the goal and Octavio Cordaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63 played minutes Quilaquina got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Isusko. Octavio Cordaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Paulino Chus made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Vergara FC's Octavio Cordaro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulino Chus. That made the score 0-3 after 79 minutes of play. Paulino Chus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Eder, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Ariel Ayala kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Romulo Olentzaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 87 played minutes Vergara FC got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Olentzaro. Evaristo Navarro made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vergara FC's Gaudencio Florin. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Eder in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulino Chus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute of the match, Modesto Eder tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paulino Chus saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vergara FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
