Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute of the match Osvaldo Chico sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurelio Gorosti skillfully saved the ball. Leo Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th match minute, Ambato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszko Pisarcik to maneuver through the defense. Anier Miliano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eloy Osasun having to make a save. Aurelio Gorosti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Erroman in the 15th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Zbyszko Pisarcik put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Corner Four F.C. a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Osvaldo Chico, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ambato's Aurelio Gorosti. 0-1. After some careless play in the Corner Four F.C. defense, Leo Santo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eloy Osasun. The Corner Four F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eloy Osasun should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Ambato getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Benicio Eguerdi hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes, Corner Four F.C.'s Osvaldo Chico shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aurelio Gorosti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Corner Four F.C. reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Corner Four F.C.'s zone, Leo Santo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Osasun came out of the goal and Leo Santo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseo Cordareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Eloy Osasun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Cordareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paolo Lopez to make the kick off. Osvaldo Chico hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ambato's zone, Nereo Martxot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Gorosti came out of the goal and Nereo Martxot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseo Cordareo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leo Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseo Cordareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 65th minute, Leo Santo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ambato fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Leo Santo took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Osasun. Eloy Osasun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 79th minute Leo Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes, Ruperto Mateus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corner Four F.C. and the Ambato players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Ruperto Mateus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Paolo Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Gorosti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Leo Santo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliseo Cordareo struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Eloy Osasun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ambato. Eloy Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Santo in the 93rd minute of the match. Eloy Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Santo in the 94th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Ambato players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
