That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Curcio in the 6th minute of play forced AC Meunpette's goalkeeper Hipolito Cebrian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Refugio charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomiro Refugio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cienaguilla booed when AC Meunpette was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Refugio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Generoso Curcio came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Cienaguilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Generoso Curcio couldn't finish the play. After having played for 11 minutes, Generoso Curcio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cienaguilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Curcio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaston Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Cienaguilla's Generoso Curcio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hipolito Cebrian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hipolito Cebrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Matro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st match minute, AC Meunpette was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Refugio to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Ovidio Matro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Cebrian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, AC Meunpette's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Matro came free, but Hipolito Cebrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Inocencio Cilio managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when AC Meunpette's Gaston Francesco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. AC Meunpette's Hipolito Cebrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Curcio in the 43rd minute of play. When Gaston Francesco came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the AC Meunpette fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Francesco couldn't finish the play. If Prospero Ordono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st match minute, Cienaguilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Lia to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Prospero Ordono's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inocencio Cilio was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Inocencio Cilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Ordono in the 69th minute of play. Baldomiro Refugio kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Hipolito Cebrian acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Aldo Frederico. Prospero Ordono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Inocencio Cilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inocencio Cilio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaston Francesco went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Cienaguilla's Inocencio Cilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Ordono in the 86th minute of play.
