Victorio Vermudo's late challenge caught a Uñatuya AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorio Vermudo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, El Pincha del Alto Valle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Vermudo to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Mede was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Leonides Galo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnaldo Ermano took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Laurentzi. Ismael Laurentzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ismael Laurentzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Galo in the 25th minute of the match. Ismael Laurentzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Galo in the 27th minute of play. The wind increased when Leonides Galo made the kick off in the second half.
