Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Natalio Ascencio kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Marino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ACADEMIA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papagayos the free kick. The supporters of Papagayos booed when ACADEMIA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Marino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Edwardo was a little too slow when Armando Barreda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niceto Koldo during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Niceto Koldo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When Hugo Paz came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Papagayos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Paz couldn't finish the play. Franciszek Czapski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Ascencio in the 14th minute of play. Astor Edwardo was a little too slow when Maximino Gonzo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-1. Armando Barreda might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Astor Edwardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Barreda ran back to his position shaking his head. Astor Edwardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Barreda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian Ted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Papagayos's zone, Armando Barreda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Edwardo came out of the goal and Armando Barreda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Armando Barreda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Barreda in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Astor Edwardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudio Grabiel kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Barreda made a kick off. If Damian Ted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astor Edwardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Barreda in the 61st minute of the match. If Armando Barreda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Ted in the 64th minute of play forced Papagayos's goalkeeper Astor Edwardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, ACADEMIA FC's Armando Barreda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Astor Edwardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Niceto Koldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Astor Edwardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ACADEMIA FC's Armando Barreda got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Papagayos's Natalio Ascencio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Franciszek Czapski. That made the score 2-2 after 78 minutes of play. Claudio Grabiel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Franciszek Czapski made a huge save. The supporters of Papagayos booed when ACADEMIA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Gonzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Barreda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Edwardo having to interfere. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Papagayos's goalkeeper Astor Edwardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armando Barreda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Edwardo having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Natalio Ascencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franciszek Czapski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Ted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Edwardo having to interfere. After some careless play in the Papagayos defense, Armando Barreda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astor Edwardo. The Papagayos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Edwardo should have stopped the shot. ACADEMIA FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
