A collision led to Pirata Fc. getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ulises Gelmiro hit a great ball. Cirilo Izel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Lizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Cirilo Izel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 23rd minute, one of Pirata Fc.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pirata Fc.. The referee gave Trapalcó AFC a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Santiago Abadie, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pirata Fc.'s Cirilo Izel. 0-2. In the 29th match minute, Trapalcó AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Munio to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Maximo Procopio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cirilo Izel was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Eustaquio Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Mon in the 35th minute of play. Cirilo Izel came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Trapalcó AFC's Maximo Procopio. But to his dismay, Maximo Procopio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Pirata Fc.'s Cirilo Izel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Naldo in the 49th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduardo Mon to make the kick off. Pirata Fc.'s Cirilo Izel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Pirata Fc. from getting a goal against them. Santiago Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pirata Fc.'s Cirilo Izel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Naldo in the 62nd minute of play. After 62 played minutes Pirata Fc. got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Sauveur. In the 66th match minute, Pirata Fc. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Sauveur to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Pirata Fc.'s Cirilo Izel got control of the ball when Hector Lizar tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Eduardo Mon came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Pirata Fc. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Mon couldn't finish the play. After 73 played minutes Trapalcó AFC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Naldo. Eduardo Mon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pirata Fc.'s Cirilo Izel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Naldo in the 80th minute of play. Trapalcó AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pirata Fc. the free kick. In the 97th match minute, Trapalcó AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Lizar to maneuver through the defense. The Trapalcó AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Trapalcó AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
