But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Ourente couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Stanislao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aldea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loreto the free kick. Ermegildo Stanislao hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Machado in the 27th minute of play forced Loreto's goalkeeper Gaston Felipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvio Romo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Teobaldo Baldovino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Laurin in the 29th minute of play. Eusebio Ourente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Loreto's Rosendo Matia fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Teobaldo Baldovino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Ourente in the 38th minute of play. Eusebio Ourente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldea's Teobaldo Baldovino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Ourente in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusebio Ourente to make the kick off. 0-1 became the score in the 52nd minute when Rosendo Matia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 56th minute of the match Primitivo Laurin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teobaldo Baldovino skillfully saved the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aldea reached it. Tomás Marin's late challenge caught a Aldea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Marin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Aldea booed when Loreto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Aldea's Marco Machado got a free kick in the 94th minute. Loreto's Gaston Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Machado in the 97th minute of play.
