Leonides Monico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Stroeder's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Monico came free, but 贺傲耀 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Stroeder was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Fernanco to maneuver through the defense. Clemente Rexino hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Haroldo Farias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A very good chance. After 25 minutes, Haroldo Farias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Desamparados and the Stroeder players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27thth minute of the game Leonides Monico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stroeder's 贺傲耀 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Haroldo Farias notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Stroeder's 贺傲耀. 贺傲耀 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the game, Haroldo Farias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. 贺傲耀 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joel Dalmau hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute Leonides Monico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 贺傲耀 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sportivo Desamparados booed when Stroeder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Fernanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 贺傲耀 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Farias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Stroeder's goalkeeper 贺傲耀, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Sportivo Desamparados:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stroeder:s goal. Gonzalo Guzman had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Thalis Kritikopoulos's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Sportivo Desamparados's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Stephen came free, but Gonzalo Guzman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, Sportivo Desamparados's Leonides Monico made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 贺傲耀 was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Stroeder's zone, Silverio Federigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 贺傲耀 came out of the goal and Silverio Federigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Stroeder's 贺傲耀 got control of the ball when Leonides Monico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thalis Kritikopoulos in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Guzman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Stroeder getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Urbano Fernanco hit a great ball. Venancio Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When the match was over Sportivo Desamparados could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Stroeder throughout the match.
