Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carolo Eskuin got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Independiente's goalkeeper Paulo Rivas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lisandro Chus. Paulo Rivas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tiburcio Urko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carolo Eskuin in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filomeno Elizardo saved C.A. Nueva Chicago from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, Independiente's goalkeeper Paulo Rivas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiburcio Urko. In the 23rd minute, Pedro Augusto Nascimento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo Rivas. The goal made the score 2-0. With a little luck, Independiente's Paulo Rivas got control of the ball when Lisandro Chus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Rivas made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Tiburcio Urko sent off a good shot on target. Zeledon Berart's late challenge caught a C.A. Nueva Chicago's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeledon Berart helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.A. Nueva Chicago booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Berart didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Chus in the 41st minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Paulo Rivas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Leonides Olentzaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filomeno Elizardo came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Carolo Eskuin. But to his dismay, Carolo Eskuin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiburcio Urko to make the kick off. If Luisito Obeko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lisandro Chus scored 4-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Rivas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Augusto Nascimento took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Rivas. Paulo Rivas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. After 78 minutes, Aureliano Eleazar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Nueva Chicago and the Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute, Aureliano Eleazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiburcio Urko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Rivas having to interfere. Filomeno Elizardo made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Luisito Obeko sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, C.A. Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Olentzaro came free, but Filomeno Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
