Igor Fiz kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Zárate FC's Rosendo Karmel got a free kick in the 10th minute. Omar Baumar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Romo having to make a save. Nicolas Guilabertus made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Alberto Txema sent off a good shot on target. Braulio Vidal charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Braulio Vidal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes club atletico sarminento got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Vidal. 15 minutes into the match, club atletico sarminento's goalkeeper Nicolas Guilabertus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Txema. Nicolas Guilabertus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Guzman in the 16th minute of the match. club atletico sarminento's Eulalio Lucado got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Zárate FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rosendo Karmel hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Omar Baumar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitri Hinz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Romo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, club atletico sarminento's Omar Baumar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Romo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Genaro Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Guilabertus having to interfere. A collision led to Zárate FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Freddy Donio hit a great ball. In the 42nd match minute, Zárate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Donio to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes, club atletico sarminento's Omar Baumar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Romo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in club atletico sarminento reached it. In the 44th minute of the match, Genaro Guzman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nicolas Guilabertus saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Genaro Guzman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, club atletico sarminento's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Txema came free, but Nicolas Guilabertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 minutes of play, Zárate FC's Genaro Guzman made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omar Baumar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Benito Romo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Txema during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zárate FC's Alberto Txema got a free kick in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Guzman in the 90th minute of play forced club atletico sarminento's goalkeeper Nicolas Guilabertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94thth minute of the game Omar Baumar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zárate FC's Benito Romo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benito Romo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Xabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When Aldo Gaspard fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zárate FC's protests and gave Aldo Gaspard a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Zárate FC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Gaspard. club atletico sarminento's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
