Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Jimeno Cordeara fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mártires's protests and gave Jimeno Cordeara a yellow card for diving instead. Mártires's Cleto Matthew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 姜政棋 in the 6th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Omar Lauaxeta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mártires and the Caraguatay players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Caraguatay booed when Mártires was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Lauaxeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caraguatay's Tomas Suero got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 姜政棋 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by 姜政棋 in the 23rd minute of play forced Mártires's goalkeeper Cleto Matthew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Gilberto Ferdinand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cleto Matthew was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 27 played minutes Mártires got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Cordeara. After a defensive mix-up in Mártires's zone, Conrado Beltza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Matthew came out of the goal and Conrado Beltza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Mártires defense, Tomas Suero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cleto Matthew. The Mártires fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cleto Matthew should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Suero in the 38th minute of play forced Mártires's goalkeeper Cleto Matthew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Suero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cleto Matthew having to make a save. In the 43rd minute, Conrado Beltza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomero Cordarrol was the one to do the kick off. Mártires's Cleto Matthew proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Mártires from getting a goal against them. In the 57th match minute, Mártires was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Laurentzi to maneuver through the defense. After 59 played minutes Caraguatay got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Viator. Cleto Matthew made an important save on a dangerous shot by 姜政棋 in the 64th minute. Caraguatay's Tomas Suero got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by 姜政棋 in the 69th minute of play forced Mártires's goalkeeper Cleto Matthew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Beltza during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Caraguatay getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Conrado Beltza hit a great ball. Mártires's Cleto Matthew proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Mártires from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Mártires's Cleto Matthew got control of the ball when 姜政棋 tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mártires's goalkeeper Cleto Matthew, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Igor Parajewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cleto Matthew was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 87th minute, Conrado Beltza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caraguatay played a much better game than Mártires and deserved their victory. The Mártires players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
