After a defensive mix-up in ALCA de BUENOS AIRES's zone, Americo Sedeni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Matxin came out of the goal and Americo Sedeni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonatan Ibon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rosendo Matxin. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Rosendo Matxin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonatan Ibon's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After 17 minutes, Aureliano Danel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ALCA de BUENOS AIRES and the MANDRAKE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aureliano Danel hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. A collision led to MANDRAKE getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Americo Sedeni hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Americo Sedeni fired away a sharp free kick straight at the goal. It looked like it might be really tough for the goalie to handle, but the shot went into the stands to the left of Rosendo Matxin. Felix Cordaryal hit a great ball. 28 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when ALCA de BUENOS AIRES's Cristobal Brion fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Americo Sedeni in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rosendo Matxin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rosendo Matxin made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Americo Sedeni sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute Jonatan Ibon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edu Loureiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaias Harriet went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Jonatan Ibon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristobal Brion to strike the kick off in the second half. ALCA de BUENOS AIRES's Rosendo Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Ibon in the 53rd minute of play. After 61 played minutes ALCA de BUENOS AIRES got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Bilintx. In the 63rd minute of the match Everardo Benvide sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rosendo Matxin skillfully saved the ball. Rosendo Matxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Ibon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristobal Brion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Edu Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes ALCA de BUENOS AIRES got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Gonzo. Rosendo Matxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Jonatan Ibon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Americo Sedeni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rosendo Matxin was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. When Jonatan Ibon came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the MANDRAKE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Ibon couldn't finish the play. ALCA de BUENOS AIRES's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
