An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Chayo in the 6th minute of play forced Catamarca's goalkeeper Gualterio Carlomagno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Tirso might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Kemen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baltasar Tirso ran back to his position shaking his head. Gualterio Carlomagno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Nalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteve Chayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Carlomagno having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Catamarca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Goyo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ovidio Nalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taficillo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidio Nalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Carlomagno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 33 played minutes Taficillo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Normando. Gualterio Carlomagno came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Taficillo AFC's Ovidio Nalo. But to his dismay, Ovidio Nalo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Marco Dalmau's late challenge caught a Taficillo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Dalmau helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Ovidio Nalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualterio Carlomagno was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Esteve Chayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taficillo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteve Chayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celestino Dominic to strike the kick off in the second half. Celestino Dominic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Julio Kemen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidio Nalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Julio Kemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Dominic in the 70th minute of play. The Catamarca fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Catamarca's Celestino Dominic looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Celestino Dominic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Catamarca's goalkeeper Gualterio Carlomagno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteve Chayo. Celestino Dominic's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Kemen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Julio Kemen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Dominic, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Julio Kemen came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Catamarca's Celestino Dominic. But to his dismay, Celestino Dominic quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Catamarca's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
