Moises Gutierrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Gutierrez having to interfere. Anibal Monico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Adrio in the 35th minute of play. If Artemio Tiadoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Adrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Anibal Monico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Abad in the 43rd minute of play forced FORD's goalkeeper Anibal Monico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alonzo Abad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonel Garoa was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artemio Tiadoro got free with Anibal Monico in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Prospero Oinatz was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Prospero Oinatz kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 57 minutes, Elias Adrio made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. FORD's Anibal Monico tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Moises Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute.
