After 15 played minutes Población FC got a freekick which was hit by Candido Cordarrel. 狄夕光 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Gabrio in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute Konstantinos Karkamanis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Maule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Población FC's 狄夕光 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Sances in the 24th minute of play. 狄夕光 made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Orlando Gabrio sent off a good shot on target. Raul Maule took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantinos Karkamanis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paris Saint-Germain's Raul Maule played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Miliano in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Ciro Artizar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Sergio Sances took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for 狄夕光 to make any attempt to save it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
