Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aldo Jaunzuria started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efrain Quintun during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Chaschuil AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Quintun to maneuver through the defense. Hannes Sävström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Jaunzuria in the 7th minute of play. Juan James in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hannes Sävström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Aldo Jaunzuria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Nahia hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Teofilo Perfecto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Siro Chago fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Volcán's protests and gave Siro Chago a yellow card for diving instead. Siro Chago kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Volcán got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Cresitobalo. After a defensive mix-up in Chaschuil AFC's zone, Eugenio Quinton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hannes Sävström came out of the goal and Eugenio Quinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Jacinto Felo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Volcán's Timoteo Francis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juan James received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hannes Sävström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Chaschuil AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacinto Felo was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chaschuil AFC's goalkeeper Hannes Sävström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Juan James had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Juan James got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Lop had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hannes Sävström. Chaschuil AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Lop was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Chaschuil AFC's zone, Juan James stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hannes Sävström came out of the goal and Juan James tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timoteo Francis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Felo in the 69th minute of play. If Juan James had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Timoteo Francis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Felo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hannes Sävström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan James in the 79th minute of the match. Ignacio Cresitobalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Juan James managed to get in a good position for a shot. Volcán's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan James was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hannes Sävström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Juan James got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ignacio Cresitobalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignacio Cresitobalo charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ignacio Cresitobalo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Ignacio Cresitobalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Despite being the better team, Volcán failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
