The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teodoro Guerrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of CSyD Flores booed when Barrialito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Nastasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute Saul Jeraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Pablo Carrizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezequiel Aimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Juan Pablo Carrizo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Saul Jeraldo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Juan Pablo Carrizo. 23 minutes into the game, Honorato Fidencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSyD Flores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrialito the free kick. After 23 played minutes CSyD Flores got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Fidencio. CSyD Flores's Juan Pablo Carrizo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Guerrero in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prospero Quinton during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, CSyD Flores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Quinton to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to CSyD Flores getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Prospero Quinton hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Jeraldo in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Pablo Carrizo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saul Jeraldo to strike the kick off in the second half. Saul Jeraldo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Juan Pablo Carrizo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Juan Pablo Carrizo came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrialito's Ezequiel Aimar. But to his dismay, Ezequiel Aimar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ezequiel Aimar struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Juan Pablo Carrizo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrialito. Saul Jeraldo in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juan Pablo Carrizo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 72 in the game by Saul Jeraldo from a close distance when the talented Juan Pablo Carrizo managed to make a qualified save. CSyD Flores's players were relieved. Prospero Quinton kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Modesto Hunfredo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. The referee gave CSyD Flores a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Celestino Iago, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barrialito's Delmar Handi. 1-2. After a rather tough play, CSyD Flores's Celestino Iago got a free kick in the 84th minute. Juan Pablo Carrizo made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Saul Jeraldo sent off a good shot on target. If Ezequiel Aimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barrialito's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
