The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olof Cane might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Felipillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olof Cane ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Esquina C's Severino Betadur got a free kick in the 17th minute. Guaberto Amato charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guaberto Amato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
