Isidoro Bermund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talamuyuna AFC. Maximo Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Damaso Selatse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Talamuyuna AFC's Antonio Bartuelo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 12th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Isidoro Bermund but with some difficulty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciriaco Procopio in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Txerran saved Talamuyuna AFC from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Amadeo Jakue ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Bermund was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Isidoro Bermund made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Amadeo Jakue sent off a good shot on target. If Cesar Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Duardo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Fernando Sustrai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talamuyuna AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Sustrai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Bermund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciriaco Procopio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesar Chuan struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Samuel Txerran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Machigasta. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, Talamuyuna AFC's Amadeo Jakue got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Cesar Chuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Txerran having to interfere. The supporters of Machigasta booed when Talamuyuna AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ciriaco Procopio came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Machigasta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Procopio couldn't finish the play. Cesar Chuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Txerran having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Talamuyuna AFC got a freekick which was hit by Roque Barros. 76 minutes into the game Leonel Duardo kicked a great long shot which passed Samuel Txerran straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-2. One couldn't see Leonel Duardo behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Machigasta made a substitution. Hugo Cordeiro replaced Cesar Chuan. Isidoro Bermund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Selatse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evelio Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Machigasta's Ciriaco Procopio got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Txerran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Procopio in the 89th minute of the match. Machigasta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
