Aquiles Maju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Ereinotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Raimundo Nalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Raimundo Nalo sped through Palavecino's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonides Onbera. Leonides Onbera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Lore in the 20th minute of the match. Argento's Aquiles Maju proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Argento from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute Palavecino were awarded a corner. Florencio Ferman went to the cornerflag to take it. Aquiles Maju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Alvaro Bemabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Maju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genaro Lore struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Leonides Onbera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argento. The supporters of Argento booed when Palavecino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Bemabe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Nalo in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Onbera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Argento's Raimundo Nalo in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palavecino's goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Pueblo came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aquiles Maju could save by the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Nalo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorge Jerico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Onbera having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Argento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Chap to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Bortzaioriz during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Argento players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Palavecino from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
