In the 20th minute, Zacarias Chan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Bihar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Fernan Mendebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olavarría's goalkeeper Niceto Froila, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Antrax FC booed when Olavarría was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Selmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antrax FC's Fernan Mendebal got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Astor Eli succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Fernan Mendebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niceto Froila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Astor Eli's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Niceto Froila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Mendebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Astor Eli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zacarias Chan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernan Mendebal got free with Niceto Froila in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zacarias Chan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fabio Bihar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When David Navarro fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olavarría's protests and gave David Navarro a yellow card for diving instead. David Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Astor Eli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niceto Froila. Olavarría's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Astor Eli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Modesto Oihenarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Bihar having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernan Mendebal got free with Niceto Froila in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Astor Eli sped through Olavarría's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Niceto Froila. Eugenio Cordara hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Astor Eli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Niceto Froila, 1-6. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 1-7 when Astor Eli sped through Olavarría's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Niceto Froila.
