The referee ignored C.A.BOCA JUNIORS's protests and gave Generoso Romano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C.A.BOCA JUNIORS getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Generoso Romano hit a great ball. In the 10th match minute, Burzaco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Macario to maneuver through the defense. Benito Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svante Cane in the 11th minute of the match. C.A.BOCA JUNIORS's Horácio Bertassi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.BOCA JUNIORS from getting a goal against them. With 27 minutes on the clock, Roberto Fagildo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 27th minute, one of Burzaco FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Burzaco FC. Benito Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svante Cane in the 33rd minute of the match. Benito Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Romano in the 40th minute of play. Luis Macario struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Horácio Bertassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burzaco FC. In the 43rd minute Svante Cane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Montxo in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacinto Garin was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Apolo Montxo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.BOCA JUNIORS and the Burzaco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Apolo Montxo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Benito Navarro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Luis Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Garin missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 72 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Horácio Bertassi right hand side. 75 minutes into the match, Burzaco FC's goalkeeper Benito Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Generoso Romano. When Luis Macario fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Burzaco FC's protests and gave Luis Macario a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of C.A.BOCA JUNIORS booed when Burzaco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Macario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Macario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of C.A.BOCA JUNIORS booed when Burzaco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Jax didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Apolo Montxo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Navarro. The goal made the score 0-2. After 92 minutes of play, Burzaco FC's Saverio Mincho made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horácio Bertassi was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over C.A.BOCA JUNIORS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Burzaco FC throughout the match.
