In the 30th minute of the match Fabricio Corderall sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven Löfkvist skillfully saved the ball. The Verdugos FC fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Verdugos FC's Ambrosio Calvino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 35th minute Ambrosio Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Löfkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saverio Llin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Vito in the 36th minute of play. Baltasar Demesio kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. When Ambrosio Calvino came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Verdugos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrosio Calvino couldn't finish the play. C.A.Boca Juniors's Sven Löfkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Calvino in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st match minute, C.A.Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Matteo to maneuver through the defense. Ambrosio Hunfredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saverio Llin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ambrosio Hunfredo ran back to his position shaking his head. 54 minutes into the game, C.A.Boca Juniors's Joaquin Matteo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saverio Llin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With a little luck, C.A.Boca Juniors's Sven Löfkvist got control of the ball when Patricio Gartzea tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ambrosio Hunfredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. A hard shot by Fabricio Corderall from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Sven Löfkvist's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ambrosio Hunfredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joaquin Matteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A.Boca Juniors's Joaquin Matteo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Calvino in the 96th minute of play forced C.A.Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Sven Löfkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A.Boca Juniors's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
