If Celso Ledesma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 36 minutes, Gabriel Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Guzman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Palmar FC's Gabriel Guzman got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulino Cilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Felipe Luzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Guzman in the 45th minute of play forced Pepino Futbol Club's goalkeeper Felipe Luzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Pepino Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Salomon to maneuver through the defense.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Cilio in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Luzea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Pepino Futbol Club getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Paolo Gaizkine hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Pepino Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Guzman came free, but Felipe Luzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Saturnino Oriche fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pepino Futbol Club's protests and gave Saturnino Oriche a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Saturnino Oriche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gabriel Guzman came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Palmar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Guzman couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute Paulino Cilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Luzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Luzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Cilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
