The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Llanos got free with Tomas Eli in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 10 minutes, Nemesio Tolino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ensenada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Tolino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Eli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Leoncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Ubaldo Rito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simplemente Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Rito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Eli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vicente Pagomari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Otoniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Ensenada's Tomas Eli got control of the ball when Ubaldo Rito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ubaldo Rito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Eli having to interfere. Tomas Eli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Leoncio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simplemente Futbol's Ubaldo Rito got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Vidal struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Vicente Pagomari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ensenada. 46 minutes into the game, Honorato Meder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Vicente Pagomari was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliberto Leoncio made a kick off. Feliberto Leoncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Eli having to interfere. In the 61st minute of the game Cristian Bermund made a throw-in which Romeo Gaspard played forward. In the 62nd minute of the match, Jonathan Otoniel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vicente Pagomari saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Simplemente Futbol getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Francisco Frisco hit a great ball. Vicente Pagomari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Vidal in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute, Ensenada's Jonathan Otoniel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vicente Pagomari. Vicente Pagomari yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Emiliano Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Vicente Pagomari made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, Simplemente Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Tolino came free, but Vicente Pagomari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ubaldo Rito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Tomas Eli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Simplemente Futbol booed when Ensenada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Ensenada's Vicente Pagomari threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonathan Otoniel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vicente Pagomari didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nemesio Tolino went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 86th match minute, Ensenada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Gaspard to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Eli came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Simplemente Futbol's Feliberto Leoncio. But to his dismay, Feliberto Leoncio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Ensenada's Jonathan Otoniel got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simplemente Futbol's Vicente Pagomari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Otoniel in the 92nd minute of play. Amancio Frances's late challenge caught a Simplemente Futbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amancio Frances helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ensenada getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Amancio Frances hit a great ball. The supporters of Simplemente Futbol booed when Ensenada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ensenada walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
