The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Faro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abel Faro scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidio Lorencio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Medrano FC's zone, Gogo Aztore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Jordy came out of the goal and Gogo Aztore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gogo Aztore's late challenge caught a Medrano FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gogo Aztore helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Medrano FC booed when 20 de junio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Aztore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidio Lorencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A collision led to 20 de junio getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Baldomero Santos hit a great ball. Orlando Tristan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. 20 de junio walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
