In the 21st match minute, Mapis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Galo to maneuver through the defense. Filiberto Ur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Rencio having to interfere. Mapis's Hernan Lucero got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Galo came free, but Feliciano Cidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Elorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Hernan Lucero took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Feliciano Cidro to make any attempt to save it. With his leg Feliciano Cidro managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Mapis's Zacarias Iztal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusebio Gitano during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Filiberto Ur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Hermengildo Rencio made a huge save. Hernan Lucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Cidro having to interfere.
