Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Berraondo AFC's Ezequiel Jaizki started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nunez Nuno made in the 4th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Omar Frechoso. Maximino Osoitz's late challenge caught a Arraga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximino Osoitz helped the player get up and apologised. Maximino Osoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Ezequiel Jaizki came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Berraondo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Jaizki couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes in the game Nunez Nuno did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Blas Tancredo. A collision led to Arraga getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Blas Tancredo hit a great ball. If Zacarias Cesaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Ezequiel Jaizki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berraondo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Jaizki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Elequemedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Arraga defense, Ezequiel Jaizki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillermo Elequemedo. The Arraga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillermo Elequemedo should have stopped the shot. Ezequiel Jaizki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ezequiel Jaizki might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guillermo Elequemedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ezequiel Jaizki ran back to his position shaking his head. Ezequiel Jaizki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Arraga players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Berraondo AFC were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermengildo Alonso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Hermengildo Alonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arraga's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Alonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Edur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guillermo Elequemedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Jaizki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeo Platon struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Guillermo Elequemedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berraondo AFC. In the 67th match minute, Arraga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Nuno to maneuver through the defense. Berraondo AFC's Mauro Edur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Cesaro in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute Ezequiel Jaizki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Elequemedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Ezequiel Jaizki put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Guillermo Elequemedo. Maximino Osoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guillermo Elequemedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Berraondo AFC's Ezequiel Jaizki got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arraga's Blas Tancredo got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Berraondo AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
