Ricardo Vela's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Ezequiel Eneas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Casimiro Rencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Gomesano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Sarracino having to interfere. A collision led to Pollo al disco getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Casimiro Rencio hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Bernardo Gomesano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruben Sarracino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Bernardo Gomesano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casimiro Rencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guaberto Fero charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guaberto Fero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Malligasta got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Fero. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Vela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baldomero Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Guaberto Fero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Ricardo Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Eneas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Rencio in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Ricardo Vela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Constantino Sol fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malligasta's protests and gave Constantino Sol a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Malligasta got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Sol. After a defensive mix-up in Malligasta's zone, Baldomero Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Eneas came out of the goal and Baldomero Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruben Sarracino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Gomesano in the 86th minute of play. Pollo al disco's Ruben Sarracino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Pollo al disco from getting a goal against them.
