Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Virgilio Incendio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Merlo's zone, Guaberto Rumaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Quin came out of the goal and Guaberto Rumaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Merlo getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Aaron Ignatius hit a great ball. Miguel Quin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Rumaldo in the 8th minute of the match. When Maximo Gerazan fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merlo's protests and gave Maximo Gerazan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Merlo's Maximo Gerazan got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Simon Ramirez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Quin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Guaberto Rumaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Simon Ramirez notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Merlo's Miguel Quin. Miguel Quin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Simon Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Federico Joseph showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Basualdo in the 28th minute of the match. Virgilio Incendio struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Federico Joseph didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merlo. When Guaberto Rumaldo came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Panquehá fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Rumaldo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 37 minutes, Simon Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panquehá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Ramirez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guaberto Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Miguel Quin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Natal's late challenge caught a Panquehá's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Natal helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Merlo got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Natal. After a rather tough play, Panquehá's Armando Lertxun got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute Guaberto Rumaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Quin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 52nd match minute, Merlo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Natal to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Quin made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Simon Ramirez sent off a good shot on target. Eustacio Basualdo scored 1-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Joseph, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Simon Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Miguel Quin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 61 in the game by Simon Ramirez from a close distance when the talented Miguel Quin managed to make a qualified save. Merlo's players were relieved. If Eustacio Basualdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damaso Nesor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Merlo booed when Panquehá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Ramirez in the 72nd minute of play forced Merlo's goalkeeper Miguel Quin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Merlo booed when Panquehá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Nesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorato Breogan during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Honorato Breogan kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Federico Joseph didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Virgilio Incendio went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Merlo's Miguel Quin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Merlo from getting a goal against them. Miguel Quin made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Simon Ramirez sent off a good shot on target. Federico Joseph took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Incendio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eustacio Basualdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th minute, Guaberto Rumaldo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Miguel Quin. The goal made the score 2-3. Panquehá's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
