When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Lastenia FC's Tomás Felo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Victoriano Paulin. Omar Jerrold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Kepa, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Cajon AFC's Leonides Seguinus got a free kick in the 13th minute. Cajon AFC's Victoriano Paulin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Cajon AFC from getting a goal against them. Omar Jerrold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Kepa in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Leo Hunfredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lastenia FC and the Cajon AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Leo Hunfredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Miguel Arnalt fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lastenia FC's protests and gave Miguel Arnalt a yellow card for diving instead. Miguel Arnalt hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Cajon AFC's Maximino Kepa got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Roldanillo in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Paulin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Lastenia FC's Victoriano Paulin threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andres Roldanillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A wasted opportunity for Lastenia FC. 44 minutes into the match, Cajon AFC's goalkeeper Victoriano Paulin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Arnalt. Maximo Furman's late challenge caught a Lastenia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximo Furman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lastenia FC booed when Cajon AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Furman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andres Roldanillo made a kick off. When Maximino Kepa came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Cajon AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Kepa couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Cajon AFC booed when Lastenia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Vela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Arnalt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Victoriano Paulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victoriano Paulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Roldanillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 64 minutes, Miguel Arnalt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lastenia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Arnalt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victoriano Paulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Arnalt in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Alvaro Gonsalvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Casimiro Hartz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lastenia FC's Omar Jerrold didn't even have to move. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cajon AFC! Tomás Felo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 79th minute, Andres Goiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andres Roldanillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Paulin having to interfere. Andres Roldanillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87th minute, Maximo Furman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Miguel Arnalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cajon AFC booed when Lastenia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Arnalt didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Lastenia FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Alvaro Gonsalvo hit a great ball. Lastenia FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
