If Marcelino Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jumeal FC's Ezequiel Quinten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Jumeal FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Jumeal FC's Norberto Velasco got a free kick in the 8th minute. Dario Quiroga struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Ezequiel Quinten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swanheart. Miguel Virila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Quinten having to interfere. When Laureano Toli fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Swanheart's protests and gave Laureano Toli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Laureano Toli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelino Estevez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ezequiel Quinten made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Miguel Virila sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Swanheart booed when Jumeal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Rito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Evelio Hechter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Banegas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Nestor Banegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Rito in the 36th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Jumeal FC got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Opilano. Dario Quiroga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ezequiel Quinten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jumeal FC's Ezequiel Quinten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Jumeal FC from getting a goal against them. The Swanheart players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jumeal FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dario Quiroga made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Jumeal FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Medardo. In the 54th minute, Dario Quiroga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jumeal FC's Ezequiel Quinten didn't even have to move. Ezequiel Quinten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Quiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Jumeal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Estevez came free, but Ezequiel Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Rito in the 65th minute of play forced Swanheart's goalkeeper Nestor Banegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Dario Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swanheart's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Quiroga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marcelino Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Rito hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Swanheart's Nestor Banegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Velasco in the 75th minute of play. Miguel Virila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Quinten having to interfere. If Miguel Virila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Quiroga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ezequiel Quinten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Nestor Banegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Hechter in the 92nd minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Miguel Virila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swanheart's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Virila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jumeal FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Swanheart's much stronger midfield.
