Albano Resto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Celino having to interfere. Tomás Innocenzio might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Sedeni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Innocenzio ran back to his position shaking his head. Gaudencio Celino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Otsando in the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to Carnerito FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gregorio Micael hit a great ball. Bernabe Otsando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernabe Otsando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Celino having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albano Resto was the one to do the kick off. Bernabe Otsando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Celino having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Carnerito FC's Bernabe Otsando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaudencio Celino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Samuel Sedeni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Innocenzio in the 61st minute of play. Aldo Kauldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Pantanillo's Marcelo Azibar got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 70 minutes, Hugo Petri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pantanillo and the Carnerito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Pantanillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Petri to maneuver through the defense. After 73 minutes of play, Pantanillo's Tomás Innocenzio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Sedeni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomás Innocenzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Samuel Sedeni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Innocenzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Sedeni having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Resto in the 86th minute of play forced Pantanillo's goalkeeper Gaudencio Celino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Bernabe Otsando in the 87th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Aldo Kauldi hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabe Otsando got free with Gaudencio Celino in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the match, Pantanillo's goalkeeper Gaudencio Celino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernabe Otsando. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pantanillo had won after a very even match.
