Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Atilano Uhin started the match with the kick off. After having played for 8 minutes, Atilano Uhin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matancilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Uhin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Fix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Uhin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. Matancilla's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some careless play in the Matancilla defense, Victoriano Montel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damian Tono. The Matancilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Tono should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Matancilla's Atilano Uhin got a free kick in the 21st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiburcio Oskitz during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes Matancilla got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Oskitz. Victoriano Montel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Tono having to interfere. Ruben Fix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Atilano Uhin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matancilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Uhin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Matancilla booed when Obligado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Weterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Obligado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Uhin came free, but Julian Hug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ruben Fix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Matancilla. Santo Telmo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Julian Hug. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Segundo Taurino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damian Tono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Hibai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Fix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Obligado FC's Segundo Taurino got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victoriano Montel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Damian Tono made a huge save. If Segundo Taurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Obligado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Fix came free, but Julian Hug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Fix in the 85th minute of play forced Obligado FC's goalkeeper Julian Hug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Atilano Uhin came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Matancilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Uhin couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilano Uhin in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julian Hug saved Obligado FC from getting behind. After having played for 94 minutes, Ruben Fix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matancilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Fix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Victorino Weterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Hug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Uhin, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Matancilla players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
