The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Iraido got free with Conrado Kepa in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, Abelardo Muno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Conrado Kepa, 2-0. Florentino Ted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Kepa having to interfere. Conrado Kepa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Ted in the 44th minute of play. INDEPENDIENTE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Abelardo Muno scored to the left of an out of position Conrado Kepa, making the score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florentino Ted was the one to do the kick off. Ladislao Fresco hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Paolo Iraido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Conrado Kepa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Paolo Iraido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capillitas's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Iraido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Kepa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 66 minutes, Paolo Iraido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capillitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Iraido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Paolo Iraido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capillitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Iraido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Paolo Iraido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Paolo Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 86 minutes of play, Capillitas's Florentino Ted made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conrado Kepa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Florentino Ted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
