Claudio Jerardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Agustin Olo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Clodoveo Aguilera in the 26th minute really tested Agustin Olo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With his leg Agustin Olo managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Itatí's Claudio Jerardo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dalmacio Brun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Cai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Brun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agustin Olo having to make a save. Severiano Fraco took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dalmacio Brun. Dalmacio Brun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Itatí's Claudio Jerardo got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Anjullón FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenzo Cai was the one to do the kick off. If Lorenzo Cai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itatí's goalkeeper Dalmacio Brun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 59 in the game by Severiano Fraco from a close distance when the talented Dalmacio Brun managed to make a qualified save. Itatí's players were relieved. If Lorenzo Cai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Brun in the 63rd minute of play forced Anjullón FC's goalkeeper Agustin Olo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Claudio Jerardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Olo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Jerardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Olo having to interfere. Itatí's Dalmacio Brun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Itatí from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Tomas Brun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itatí's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Brun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Olo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Severiano Fraco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Jerardo struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Agustin Olo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itatí.
