Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tobias Torres made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute, Modesto Sengrat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nemesio Maraman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jacinto Cordareo struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Hipolito Cheche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loreto. 17 minutes into the match, Chimborazo's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Peio came free, but Hipolito Cheche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Hernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Cheche having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Modesto Sengrat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chimborazo's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Sengrat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Maraman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Loreto getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alberto Hernandez hit a great ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Octavio Peio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loreto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavio Peio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aristides Ishmael's late challenge caught a Loreto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aristides Ishmael helped the player get up and apologised. Aristides Ishmael kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Hipolito Cheche didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Octavio Peio went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Jacinto Cordareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Cheche having to interfere. In the 50th minute Ciriaco Errapel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Cheche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Peio made a kick off. A collision led to Chimborazo getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gerardo Omero hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Jacinto Cordareo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loreto's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Cordareo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipolito Cheche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute of the match Antonio Oidor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nemesio Maraman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Cordareo got free with Hipolito Cheche in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aristides Ishmael kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Chimborazo's Hipolito Cheche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Peio in the 97th minute of play. The Loreto players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
