Dionisio Arnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Eugenio Tiniebra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Cuartio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Tiniebra having to interfere. Jony´s Team's Eugenio Tiniebra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Duarte in the 37th minute of play. Jony´s Team's Urbano Victoro got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Eugenio Tiniebra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Cuartio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ismael Cuartio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Eugenio Tiniebra managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Macio's Dionisio Arnas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 66 minutes into the match, Dionisio Arnas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eugenio Tiniebra, 0-2. When Urbano Victoro came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Jony´s Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Victoro couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Jony´s Team's Eugenio Tiniebra got control of the ball when Dionisio Arnas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Domingos Semeno charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingos Semeno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Domingos Semeno hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Eugenio Tiniebra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Cuartio, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Arnas got free with Eugenio Tiniebra in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Cuartio in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Tiniebra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ismael Cuartio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Eugenio Tiniebra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenio Tiniebra made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Dionisio Arnas sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Emilio Matthew managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macio's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Matthew was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Tiniebra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Jony´s Team supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Macio's performance. The match ended with a win for Macio.
