In the 11th minute, Fabricio Azeari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gogo Laurgain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Jurdan struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Clemente Loreto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despeñaderos. Ovidio Txordon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serafino Demario's late challenge caught a Napaleofú's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafino Demario helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elias Salvidor during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, Elias Salvidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Napaleofú were awarded a corner. Timoteo Kaxen went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Timoteo Kaxen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Virgilio Seguinus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Ovidio Txordon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Severino Jurdan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despeñaderos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Clemente Loreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Salvidor in the 47th minute of play.

The audience was convinced that Severino Jurdan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Loreto was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Virgilio Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Martxel in the 64th minute of play. When Simon Martxel fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Napaleofú's protests and gave Simon Martxel a yellow card for diving instead. Simon Martxel hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Simon Martxel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgilio Seguinus was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Ovidio Txordon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clemente Loreto having to make a save. In the 75th minute, Severino Jurdan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Despeñaderos's Elias Salvidor got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Elias Salvidor off the ground. Elias Salvidor kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Simon Martxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Virgilio Seguinus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Ovidio Txordon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Napaleofú supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Despeñaderos's performance. The match ended with a win for Despeñaderos.
