Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cecilio Aritza started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Cristo Eguerdi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5thth minute of the game Arnaldo Tabby who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaviotas's Amancio Ortle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Serafin Peli fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaviotas's protests and gave Serafin Peli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Gaviotas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Peli to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Gaudencio Columbo from long distance, 7 minutes into the match, got Amancio Ortle's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 11th match minute, Gaviotas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Poncio to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Hitzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Aritza in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Gaviotas's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Tabby came free, but Amancio Ortle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 minutes of play, Gaviotas's Antonio Irrintzi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Modesto Hitzeder was left in no man's land by his defense there! Octavio Igon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Ortle having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gaviotas's Ceferino Poncio got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Cristo Eguerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Irrintzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Hitzeder having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Arnaldo Tabby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acostilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Tabby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amancio Ortle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cecilio Aritza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Hitzeder having to interfere. Cristo Eguerdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Gaviotas's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Eguerdi came free, but Amancio Ortle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Arnaldo Tabby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acostilla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Tabby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristo Eguerdi in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amancio Ortle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fulgencio Jorrin's late challenge caught a Gaviotas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulgencio Jorrin helped the player get up and apologised. Fulgencio Jorrin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, Acostilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Marcones to maneuver through the defense. Amancio Ortle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Eguerdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute Arnaldo Tabby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Ortle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute of the match Acostilla FC got a corner. Gaviotas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaudencio Columbo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Gaudencio Columbo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amancio Ortle quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gaviotas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
