Venancio Blai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Domingues having to interfere. Severino Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Blai in the 11th minute of play. Adrian Gabrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Blai, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 22nd minute Venancio Blai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Blai struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Severino Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmitas FC. After a defensive mix-up in Espora FC's zone, Adrian Gabrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Domingues came out of the goal and Adrian Gabrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 30 minutes of play, Espora FC's Victoriano Romelio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmiro Quexal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adrian Gabrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Gabrio might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severino Domingues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrian Gabrio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute, Victoriano Romelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Palmitas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Gartxot came free, but Delmiro Quexal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Victoriano Romelio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Espora FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Amado Gartxot made the kick off in the second half. Victoriano Romelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Venancio Blai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Gabrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th match minute, Espora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Cordaro to maneuver through the defense. Venancio Blai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Severino Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino Domingues had great luck who in the 74thth minute grab hold of the ball when Venancio Blai from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Amado Gartxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmiro Quexal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Romelio in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Palmitas FC's zone, Ignacio Cordaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmiro Quexal came out of the goal and Ignacio Cordaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Angel Lain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmitas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espora FC the free kick. In the 88th minute, Amado Gartxot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amado Gartxot took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmiro Quexal. Delmiro Quexal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Victoriano Romelio scored 4-2 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delmiro Quexal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Espora FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Palmitas FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
