In the 7th minute, Alvaro Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Baumar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Omar Orland. Palermo AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Omar Orland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Caton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes, Haroldo Baumar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atalaya Fc and the Palermo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Atalaya Fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Palermo AFC:s goal. If Aquilino Caton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Omar Orland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Eron in the 23rd minute of play. Nicasio Corderro kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Faustino Eron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Orland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Eron in the 29th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Faustino Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atalaya Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Eron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Orland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute Faustino Eron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Orland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st play minute Joel Beltxe came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Virgilio Bartuelo. 2-0. Omar Orland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Caton, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Juan Librado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Juan Librado made the kick off in the second half. Virgilio Bartuelo came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Palermo AFC's Nicasio Corderro. But to his dismay, Nicasio Corderro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Joel Beltxe kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When Joel Beltxe came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Palermo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Beltxe couldn't finish the play. Ivan Guillem charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Guillem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute, one of Palermo AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Palermo AFC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquilino Caton got free with Omar Orland in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Omar Orland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquilino Caton went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Virgilio Bartuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Beltxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Palermo AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atalaya Fc had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
