After a defensive mix-up in Barker's zone, Arnoldo Lleir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Fidele came out of the goal and Arnoldo Lleir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Barbosa in the 9th minute of play forced Atalaya Fc's goalkeeper Virgilio Bartuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciriaco Rosio in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Bartuelo saved Atalaya Fc from getting behind. Robustiano Matteo's late challenge caught a Barker's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robustiano Matteo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Atalaya Fc getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Robustiano Matteo hit a great ball. If Gaspar Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Rosio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Bartuelo having to interfere. When Robustiano Matteo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 19 minutes had been played. Robustiano Matteo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barker's goalkeeper Justino Fidele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aquilino Caton struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Justino Fidele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atalaya Fc. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquilino Caton got free with Justino Fidele in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaspar Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Calvet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Bartuelo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Atalaya Fc getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Roque Rios hit a great ball. When Aquilino Caton came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Atalaya Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquilino Caton couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute Gaspar Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Bartuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48thth minute of the game Gaspar Barbosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atalaya Fc's Virgilio Bartuelo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaspar Barbosa to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnoldo Lleir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Barker's Ciriaco Rosio got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Barker's Gaspar Barbosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgilio Bartuelo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaspar Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 minutes, Ismael Edwardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barker and the Atalaya Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Ismael Edwardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquilino Caton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justino Fidele having to make a save. Delmar Ignazio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Bartuelo having to interfere. If Gaspar Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Bartuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Calvet in the 77th minute of play. When Faustino Eron fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atalaya Fc's protests and gave Faustino Eron a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atalaya Fc booed when Barker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Rosio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haroldo Baumar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Justino Fidele. Barker's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Delmar Ignazio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 84 minutes, Aquilino Caton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atalaya Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Caton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aquilino Caton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Barker players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Atalaya Fc from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
