Tipas's Albino Corderall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Tipas from getting a goal against them. When Tipas's Nestor Orzaize in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alem AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Tipas's Nestor Orzaize got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fausto Jokin hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Loren was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nestor Orzaize blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Aragones having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Orzaize in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Aragones saved Alem AFC from getting behind. Alfredo Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Ovando in the 30th minute of play forced Tipas's goalkeeper Albino Corderall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Tipas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Loren to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Macario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Albino Corderall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmar Ponce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basilio Ovando might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albino Corderall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basilio Ovando ran back to his position shaking his head. Miguel Aragones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Cordareo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Basilio Ovando made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Tipas's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Ovando came free, but Albino Corderall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tipas's goalkeeper Albino Corderall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Honorio Cloyo charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorio Cloyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th match minute, Tipas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Cloyo to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the game, Alfredo Macario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Albino Corderall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carolo Betadur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albino Corderall. Tipas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tipas's Eduardo Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 69 minutes of play, Alem AFC's Alfredo Macario made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albino Corderall was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Macario in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albino Corderall saved Tipas from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Alem AFC's Erasmo Rayman got a free kick in the 77th minute. The supporters of Tipas booed when Alem AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Ponce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albino Corderall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Ovando in the 88th minute of the match. When Basilio Ovando came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Alem AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Ovando couldn't finish the play.
